Today is a band “E” day.
8:30 – Beginning Clarinet
9:00 - Beginning saxophones
9:45 – Beginning trumpets
10:15 – Beginning French horn
11:15 – Wind Ensemble
There will be chorus for everyone tomorrow (Tuesday) so use your tutorial wisely today, and get your homework done tonight.
All permission slips for the State House are due Wednesday.
Other
Due to the snow day during spirit week we missed beach day so tomorrow will be beach day. Don’t forget those bright colors and sunglasses.
There is a mandatory Student Council meeting today for those who will participate in the Read Across America Day next Monday at Narragansett.
Homeroom Teachers: Please turn in your Sock Hop Royal Court nominations by Friday. The Court will be posted on the lobby bulletin board.
History team members, Mr. Carpenter will be here this afternoon to assist in your projects, but this is not a required meeting. Registration forms are due by Friday.
A new session of Clay Club will begin this Thursday from 2:30 – 4:00. We will meet for 7 weeks. Any interested 6, 7 or 8th grade students should see Mrs. Bove or Mrs. Cousins today at the beginning of tutorial.
The basketball awards night is tomorrow night, Tuesday, at 6:00 in the auditorium. Please be sure to tell your parents.
Sports
Cheering practice schedule for this week is mandatory to prepare for the competition on Saturday.
Monday until 4:00
Tuesday until 4:00
Wednesday until 6:00
Thursday until 4:00
All indoor track athletes will practice today at 2:30 in the gym. If you are interested in joining the team, today is the last sign-up day. Everyone needs to be in attendance today in order to sign-up for events for this Saturday’s meet.
