Music
Today is a band “A” day.
8:30 – Beginning guitar – Russell
9:00 – 8th grade flutes and clarinets
9:45 – All 7th & 8th grade trumpets, trombones, baritone horn & tuba.
11:15 – Wind Ensemble.
Miss Wheeler needs to see the following students at this time: Annie, Sammy, Ali, Emily, and Kelsey. Any 8th graders interested in auditioning for chamber singers should check the information on the posters outside the cafeteria. Auditions are May 19th and 20th and practice sessions start tomorrow from 2:30 – 3:30 at the high school.
Sports
Congratulations to the 7th grade girls softball team for beating Westbrook by scoring 16 runs in the 6th inning. The final score was 21-6. Fine pitching performances by Lexi, Mary, and Lindsey.
Other
8th grade students please bring a book when you go down to NWEA testing.
Student Council meets today from 2:30 – 4:00.
