Today is a band “A” day.
8:30 – Beginning guitar class
9:00 – 8th Grade flute & clarinet
9:45 – 7th & 8th Grade trumpets, trombone, French horn, baritone, tuba
11:15 – Jazz Improv

Chorus today is in the auditorium. for everyone It is our last rehearsal before the concert, so you must be there.

Other

There will be Clay Club today.

There will be no poster session today for the car wash.

The list for student council reps eligible for the Funtown trip has been posted outside of the office. You must have attended at least 10 of the 16 meetings. Please see Mrs. Pastore for your permission slips by Friday.

Sports

The 7th grade baseball team scored six runs in their final at-bat yesterday to defeat Bonny Eagle 18 to 17. Spencer hit a two-out double to drive in Nick and Chris with the tying and game winning runs.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade girls’ softball team on a well played game. In the second inning Marissa hit a double! In the 4th Kristen made a great catch in left field and doubled the runner off third base.
After being ahead for five innings, Bonny Eagle scored two runs to take the lead in the top of the sixth. Lindsey got on base and stole around to third. She was in position to tie up the game. Hannah was thrown out on a close play at first to end the game. Pitchers were Lexi, Kristin and Erin. As always, Valencia was awesome at catching during the whole game. Great job girls.

Yesterday, the girls’ 7th grade lacrosse team had a 17 to 7 victory over Scarborough. All of the girls played unbelievable well. Libby did a faboulous job on defense keeping Scarborough away from our goal. Lindsey, Abby and Kali were unstoppable to the goal. All three girls scored three goals. Shannon scored two, Shelby, Allie and Katie each got one goal. Great job girls, let’s do it again today against Massabesic.
