Student Council Year-in-Review:

The Student Council wrapped up a great year yesterday with an after school celebration. Please take the time to congratulate your representatives for all their hard work this year. Below is a list of all their accomplishments for 2007-2008. If anyone has any needs/ideas for next year, please let us know, we love to help a good cause!! *Food Drive for St. Annes’ Church almost 3000 food items collected
*Sponsored holiday dinners for 4 families at GMS
*Sponsored 3 bowling trips for winning classrooms
*Stockings for Spring Harbor Hospital 30 stockings filled
*Bought Christmas gifts for 3 GMS families
*Animal Shelter Dog Bone Drive raised over $750.00
*Preble Street Resource/Spring Harbor 3 boxes of Beauty Aids donated
*Cleaned up around GMS for Earth Day
*Sold glow sticks for Your Space, $100 donated for insulation tile
*Autism Walk, $100 donated to sponsor staff member
*Summer Camp tuition for Gorham Student
*Sponsored games for Big Brother/Sister program here at GMS
*Attended student council conference
*Pennies for Patients raised over $2500.00
*Sponsored ice cream sundae parties for top 5 classrooms
*Sponsored Cheerleaders $300.00 for Uniforms
*Staples Ink Cartridge Drive, collected over 60 cartridges
*Memorial brick for Museum walkway $75.00
*Hosted GMS Talent Show
*Cosponsored dances for
