BOY’S SOCCER – The 7th grade boy’s soccer team played a great game yesterday beating Wescott Middle School 4-0. Dylan Turner riffled in the Rams first goal of the day on a beautiful assist by Sam Gonzalez. Austin Bell scored twice for the Rams, putting amazing shots into the net. Tyler Eldridge also scored on a nasty shot that sent the keeper spinning. Matt Melton and Corey Harmon were stellar in goal recording another shut out. The teams intense play and hard work made it an easy day for our goalies. Great job guys.. Practice and team pictures today 2:30-4:00pm.
The 8th grade boys soccer team utterly pounded the team from Wescott. Wescott scored the first goal past the diving Connor Reagan. The Rams then proceeded to go on a 9 goal run and dominate the opposition. Goals were scored by Connor Reagan with two epic snipes, Warren with a nice header goal, Milan with a flying ninja header, Nate with two beautiful cherry picks, Mike Caron with a goal, Spence with a breakaway, and Mark with the most excellent assist the world has seen so far. Good luck to the boys today against SMC.
GIRLS SOCCER – The girls 8th grade soccer team defeated Westbrook yesterday in a 2-0 victory. Goals were scored by Shannon Folan and Kristen Braley with an assist from Lindsay Chapman. Last Friday they shut out Lincoln 4-0 with thanks to Abby “the rock” Hodgkin’s on defense, a goal from kali St. Germain and a Hat Trick for Shannon Folan. Great job girls. Good luck against SMC today.
“Team Domination”, also known as the 7th grade Lady Ram’s soccer team, shut down Westbrook 5 – 0 Wednesday. The entire team was on fire from beginning to end with goals scored by Morgan and Megan Cushing, Lauren Stiles, Paige Lemieux, and Rozada Speirs. Impressive assists were also on hand from Sydney “Shots-a-Plenty” Prindle. A job well done to everyone.
