Clubs

Interested in winter skiing? You can still sign up for the Shawnee Peak and Sunday River ski programs through the Rec. Dept.

There will be Dance Club today during tutorial/SSR from 10:50-11:45. We will eat last lunch. If after school activities are not cancelled, we will meett after school as well.

Music

Friday band classes:
8:05 Monhegan woodwinds & brass
8:30 Monhegan & Eagle beginners

There is no chorus today. Congratulations on all your concerts this week….you all did a fantastic job.

Other

Holiday Hat Day will be next Tuesday. Pay a dollar and wear a hat. Funds will go the GMS Family Fuel Fund.

Sports

Mandatory Cheering practice Monday, Dec. 29th from 2:00 to 4:00.

8th Grade Girls' Basketball-Yesterday the 8th Grade Girls defeated Lincoln 37-18. Kristen Ross led the scoring with 13 points. Patty Smith added 8 points. Defensively Mary Redmond & Shannon Secord played outstanding.
There will be no 8th Grade Girls' basketball practice today.

7th Grade Girls' Basketball-Our 7th Grade Lady Rams captured another win against Lincoln yesterday. The score was 36-33. Baskets were scored by Meghan Cushing and Katie Tucker, with 8 points each! Next was Sam Doughty with 7, and Rachel Bragg with 4. There was help from Shelby Stack and Jessica Rexrode, with a basket from both of them. Great defense all. Practice today at 4:30.

7th Grade Boys' Basketball-The Gorham Rams 7th Grade Boy’s basketball team outlasted Lincoln 35-31 to move to 6 and 0. The Rams were led in scoring by Jon Woods and Eddie Weymouth who each had 10. The Rams used stellar help defense to hold one of the best 7th grade players in the state to 17 points. The Rams will look to continue their unbeaten ways through the holiday season as they travel to Mahoney next Tuesday. Good luck Rams.
