Lady Rams Basketball-Our 7th Grade Lady Rams had an amazing victory yesterday against Westbrook. The score was 37-14. We had Lauren Stiles with 6 points, Meghan Cushing with 4, Morgan Cushing with 4, Rachel Bragg with 4, Lindsey Babcock with 4 and Sammy Doughty with 4 points. Katie Tucker had 3 points, Bailey Drouin with 2, Sam Robinson with 2, Shelby Stack with 2 and Jess Rexrode with 2 points. Good job Coach Kilborn. Practice today 3:30-4:30.
7th Grade Boys Basketball-Eight different Rams scored last night as the 7th Grade Boys Basketball team took down Westbrook 46-32. The score was 8-7 after the first quarter when the Rams used a stifling press to pull away and build a 15 point lead by halftime. Westbrook benefited from Gorham’s poor free throw shooting (3 for 21) and cut into the lead, but the Rams were able to hold on for the 13 point victory. The next game is Wednesday when the Rams host the Bonny Eagle Scots.
