Clubs

Ski Club-Reminder to anyone interested in winter skiing you can still sign up for the ski programs through the Rec. Dept. This is for Shawnee Peak and Sunday River.

Music

Band-Wednesday band day.

Once Upon A Mattress-There will be a full cast meeting Tuesday. Attendance is important as it is going to be very informational. If you can not make it contact Mrs. McAtee.

Don't forget to stuff the stockings this week for the hospitals. Stockings will be collected on Friday.

History Day-There will be a History Day required meeting on Tuesday after school. All History Day Team Members must attend. Please bring in your research.

Staff Holiday Raffle-Reminder to purchase your tickets for the raffle: $2.00 dollars for 1 ticket or $5.00 for 3 tickets. The tickets will be sold until Thursday, Dec. 18th. Proceeds to benefit local charity. Drawing to be held at staff breakfast.

The Gift of Giving-Reminder that we still have many gift tags posted on the office wall for our less fortunate.

Sports

Gorham Middle School Hockey B Team had a game on Sunday. The score was 6-0. Goals were scored by Harry, Mick, Travis and Carl Bear. Gorham Middle School A team had a game on Sunday. The score was 4-3. Goals were scored by T.J., Colin and Mick. We will get them next time.

Cheerleading-Cheering practice this week is today until 4:00 and Thursday until 5:30. Please have your ride here promptly at 5:30.

Our 7th grade Lady Rams played in a well fought game in Scarborough. Despite their great efforts, they lost 31-26. Sam Doughty led the team in scoring, with 7 points. Next was Meghan Cushing with 6 points and Jessica Rexrodee and Lauren Stiles 3 points, along with 4 combined points from Morgan Cushing and Rachel Bragg. Great job girls.

Gorham Rams 7th Grade boys' basketball team squeaked out a 31-28 win against Scarborough. This game featured two undefeated teams. Jon Woods 14 points let the Rams, with Eddie Weymouth chipping in 7 and Nick Greatorex and Austin Bell adding 5 each. Woods hit four straight free throws at the end of the game to seal the win for the rams. Eddie Weymouth had a huge offensive rebound and put back with under a minute to go in the game. The Rams move to 5 and 0 on the season and will play at home on Monday vs. Scarborough at 4:30. Way to go Rams.
