Baxter Memorial Library is sponsoring a writing contest for Gorham students in grades 6-8. GMS students will be given a flyer with contest details outlining rules and deadlines for this event. Gift certificate prizes range from $10 to $50. All winners will be invited to read their submission at BMLA on Wednesday, April 1st. In addition, there is a bookmark contest for Gorham students in grades 6-12. Winning bookmarks, which will be used in the Summer Reading Club, will receive gift certificate prizes ranging from $10 - $50.
