GMS at GHS orientation schedule

After due consideration and consultation with GHS Guidance and Administration, we have decided on the following schedule for 8th grade registration:

March 16th at 8:00 am Chris Record and selected HS personnel will speak with the 8th grade students about HS registration.

March 16th at 6:30 pm in the GHS Performing Arts Center, Chris Record and selected personnel will meet with the parents of 8th Grade students to discuss and answer questions about the registration process and course selection options.

Also, on March 16th, the GHS teachers will meet with the 8th grade teachers for lunch (that has been postponed twice because of weather). Lunch will be provided.

On March 17th, during the day, the GHS Guidance Counselors will meet with the 8th grade students and register them for the classes. We will follow the original schedule of teachers for registering students.

Six Flags Money is due this week.

Miss Wheeler needs to see students during SSR or tutorial who have not handed in their final music project. Today is the last day to get these projects to Miss Wheeler.

Once Upon a Mattress full cast practice after school today.

Odyssey of the Mind Drama Team will be meeting with Mrs. Knott after school today.

Sports

Track Athletes who have not yet signed up for events need to do so today. For Saturday’s meet, be at GMS by 10:30, bus will leave at 10:40am and will return at 3:45 pm Please have your rides waiting. In order to compete at the meet you must have your number and your t-shirt. There is no track practice Thursday or Friday. Track practice today is at 2:30. This will be your last chance to sign up for events.
