8th Grade Celebration-The 8th Grade Celebration will be held at GMS in the gym on Thursday, June 18th. Seating for families will be limited and will be contained to the bleachers on either side of the gym. Handicap seating will be offered for those in need.

As with all school events, the GMS dress code will apply to the 8th grade celebration. At a minimum, we request collared shirts and long pants for the gentlemen and dresses of appropriate length and "coverage" for the ladies.

As people are entering, the 8th slide show will be running.
We will begin promptly at 6:00pm!

8th Grade Celebration Slide Show Pictures-8th Graders!! Don’t forget to send in your baby pictures for the celebration slide show. Have your parents e-mail them to Mrs. Joyce at Patricia_Joyce@gorham.k12.me.us OR Mrs. Ross at Paula_Ross@gorham.k12.me.us You can also bring them in and Mrs. Smutz will scan them for you.

Have them in by May 29th (this Friday)!

Crazy Hat Day-Attention everyone:
The last crazy hat day of the 09 school year will be next Tuesday, June 2nd!

Bring in a dollar and your crazy or not-so-crazy hat (appropriate of course) and join the 8th grade in the official countdown to the end of school.

It’s that easy. June 2nd, $1.00…..and the countdown begins.

Girls Lacrosse-The girls 7th grade lacrosse team expanded their record to 7-0 with a win over the under-rated Westbrook team, 10-6. Noodge and Haley Perkins each fired in 3 amazing goals and Morgan Cushing shot in 2. Paige Lemieux and Katie Tucker each put in 1. Olivia did awesome in goal as always and Kelsey Cushman, Rozada Spiers and Katie did super on defense.
