SOUTHERN MAINE MATH LEAGUE-MATH TEAM- Any 7th or 8th grader who would like to join the Math Team in Gorham Middle School is welcome to come to the Tuesday morning practices held from 7:00 am to 7:30 am in room A200. We meet as a team and work on higher math concepts, skills and strategies to become better with math, but also to compete in the Southern Maine Math League. This league is a competition league consisting of several schools throughout Maine and holds three competitions meets a year after school hours. Participation in the meets is on a first come first serve basis as the competition is limited to only 6 students in the 7th grade team and 6 students in the 8th grade team. FIELD HOCKEY-The 8th grade field hockey team defeated Bonny Eagle 5-0. 4 Goals were scored by Shannen Secord and 1 by Evelyn Viernes. 7th grade team lost 2-0. Great efforts by Lindsay Babcock, Charlotte Smith, Ashley Keating and Delaney Shiers.

SOCCER-Best wishes to the GMS Lady Rams Soccer team on their quest to slay the dragons of the Scarborough Red Storm today. May the lush green fields bring you great fortune.
