Friday's announcements, March 13, were presented via the school cable tv network. There are no written announcements to post on the blog today. In the future we will request the tv script to post for your information.

Clubs

Culture Club will be starting soon. This month we’ll introduce you to THAILAND. If you would like to join, please sign your name on the poster on the cafeteria window. We’ll meet on Monday after school.

There is no iTeam Thursday. The only students who should stay after are those involved in filming tomorrow’s morning announcements:

Music

Band-No band classes Thursday due to MEA testing.

Once Upon a Mattress-Practice after school Thursday for FULL cast & crew.

Other

MEA Testing-Reminder to teachers when you are done testing for the day call Mrs. Doran’s room. Do not have students leave your room until an all-call has been done.

This Friday (March 13th) we will end our MEA testing week with an assembly in the gymnasium. All teams will be attending and many activities are planned. We need your help. Beyond giving out the GRAND PRIZES from the MEA raffle, we would like to celebrate a wide variety of accomplishments within our student body. Do you know someone who just needs to be recognized? Maybe they won a swim title; earned a new belt in karate; won the spelling bee; started a community service project. Come to the office and let us know. We’d like to take time to recognize GOOD WORKS.

There will be a dance this Friday night from 7-9 pm Tickets are $5.00 and will be on sale at lunch on Friday. Buy your tickets early and be eligible to win a prize! Come and catch up with your friends and dance the night away.

Student Council will be meeting Thursday after school.

Sports

Track Team Members: Morgan Sweatt, Danna Vaughn, Jeremiah Rivard, Andrew Schmidt, and Marcel Valmond need to see Coach Bennett following announcements. Be ready for Saturday’s meet, be at GMS at 10:00, bus leaves at 10:10. Have rides back at GMS by 2:45 Don’t forget uniforms. Practice today 2:30-3:45.
