Music

Congratulations to Mike, Amy and Samuel who were selected to play with the Elite Portland Youth Wind Ensemble. We are all so proud of you!

There is Jazz Band today. Students who need to practice for solo concert please see Mrs. M after 9:00 this morning. Students who can help sort & put away music see Mrs. Mathieu at 9:00. All music needs to be turned in this morning.

Students who used the schools brass instruments need to clean, oil and slide their instruments before they’re put away for the summer.

Other

The Library will be closing next Wednesday for inventory.

Sports

The seventh grade baseball game today against Massebesic will be at 3:30. Due to tonight’s dance, and the locking of the locker rooms, all players must report to Room B103 immediately following school. No equipment should be left in the locker room today. A brief, two minute, seventh-grade baseball meeting will be held today in B103 at 10:50 am.

The girls’ eighth grade lacrosse team had a 15 to 3 victory over Westbrook yesterday. Lily did a great job at goal and Audrey & Lindsey were outstanding on both offense and defense. Goals were scored by Lindsey (3), Audrey, Kali, Shelby, and Abby scored 2 each, and Katelyn, Lily, Allie, and Abby all had 1 goal each. Fantastic job girls!
